Black-headed heron trying to eat a snake

Black headed heron (Ardea melanocephala) was trying to eat this snake when the snake managed to get its tail wrapped round the heron's neck, strangling it. The heron continued to swallow the snake until it got to this point. The heron ended up winning as it spat the snake out which then let go of the herons neck and then the heron picked it up again and ate it! Amboseli National Park, Rift Valley, Kenya.
